They were the twelve most blessed men in history, the men that spent three years learning in person from Jesus every day and night. But what do we know about how they lived and died after Jesus ascended into heaven? That will be the topic of discussion and Bible study when the Coffee and Bible Study (CABS) gets together on Monday, Nov. 4th at Bethany Meadows at 9am. So far we have taken an in-depth look at the fishermen brothers Peter and Andrew, and our goal is to cover the last ten disciples and if time permits a bit about Mathias and St. Paul. If we reach this goal, we will move on to the book of Jonah on Monday, Nov 18th. We will learn what made this “reluctant prophet” run away from God’s call, and how Jonah can inspire us to have a heart for the lost. Please join us for our forays into the Word of God over coffee and good discussion.
